CMAT Registration Statistics

In this post, we will discuss the statistics for the CMAT exam in the current as well as previous years to get a general idea of how the CMAT exam affects the MBA admission criteria in the nation and understand the extent of candidates in various categories who appeared for the exam. In addition, we will take a look at cut-offs, scorecards, NTA Percentile, All India Rankings, and Raw Scores of the CMAT from previous years.

CMAT 2023 Statistics

The latest CMAT 2023 Results were announced by National Testing Agency (NTA) on May 31, 2023, for the 58035 candidates who took the exam and registered for the CMAT exam on May 4, 2023, with various changes. To create some surprise, NTA revealed the CMAT 2023 exam results a few days before the final CMAT answer key was made public. Normally, the final answer key is made public before the exam results. This year, NTA has displayed overall sectional and overall percentile scores and All India Rank in the CMAT 2023 scorecards in addition to making adjustments to the CMAT scorecards from last year, although there is no raw score. In the CMAT scorecards from the previous year, there was simply a raw score and an All India Rank; there was no percentile score.

The CMAT 2023 exam was administered in two shifts, and after normalizing the percentile scores for both slots, the results have been made public. B-schools planned to maintain their cut-off based on the Raw score and All India Rank, but the Raw score was not made public. B-schools had no idea what NTA would put in the CMAT scorecard this year. The respective B-schools publish the cut-offs. The B school PGDM cut-off % is available for candidates to view.
