CUET UG Exam 2024

The notification for the CUET UG 2024 dates was released on April 20, 2024, by the NTA, allowing candidates to prepare for the exam. The exam dates for the CUET UG 2024 were May 15 to 24, 2024. Admission to undergraduate programs at Central Universities under the Ministry of Education's supervision, as well as other participating universities, institutions, organizations, and autonomous colleges, started from August 2024 after the results were announced.
 
The test was administered to almost 13.48 lakh participants at different venues in 380 cities, including 26 foreign countries, using the hybrid mode, which includes both online and offline modes. The CUET UG 2024 had 63 test papers. Except few courses, each paper lasted 45 minutes. The General Test took an additional 60 minutes, as were the topics of Accounting, Economics, Physics, Computer Science/Informatics Practices, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Applied Mathematics.

CUET UG Exam 2024: Eligibility Criteria

 
Candidates who have either passed the Class 12th or are awaiting the final exam were eligible for CUET UG 2024. There was no upper age limit, though certain universities may have minimum grades required for particular courses.

Candidates must have completed Class 12 (or its equivalent) from an accredited board to be eligible. 
Certain colleges might have minimum grade requirements for particular courses (e.g., 45% for SC/ST/OBC-NCL, 50% for general). 
There were particular course-related minimum score requirements at Delhi University and BHU. 
 
 
Age Restrictions: No upper age limit. 
 
Subject Combinations: Although this may differ, some colleges use class 12 grades when making admissions decisions.

Select "CUET UG Registration" from the menu.
Candidates will have the option to recover their CUET application number or password.

CUET Correction Window 2024

 
The CUET UG 2024 Correction Window remained open from March 28 to 29, 2024. Candidates were allowed a brief window of opportunity to make changes in the form. Once the correction window is closed, further changes will not be entertained. Therefore, candidates should carefully review their completed form.

CUET UG 2024 Exam Pattern: Key Features

 
Below is the updated exam pattern released by the NTA alongside the notification in April 2024.
 
1. Both computer-based test (CBT) and paper-and-pencil methods were used for the CUET exams.
 
2. There were four main areas on the CUET Exam 2024:
 
Section IA - 13 Languages (As a medium and “Language”)
Section IB - 20 Languages
Section II - 27 Domain-Specific Subjects
Section III - General Test 
 
 
3. Applicants were allowed to take up to nine tests in the format described below.
 
A maximum of six domain subjects from Section II, two languages from Section IA and Section IB combined, and the General Test from Section III. 
A maximum of five Domain Subjects from Section II, three languages from Section IA and Section IB combined, and the General Test from Section III.  
 
 
4. The CUET 2024 question paper format was multiple-choice.
