Course Overview

Computer science and engineering as a field, discipline and area of specialization, plays a mission critical role in all aspects of our lives today. Virtually no activity remains untouched regardless of its scope and dimension. Hence the demand for qualified computer science and engineering professionals continues to explode worldwide. Computer scientists and engineers write the software that drives Facebook, Google and Microsoft. They create code that lands terrestrial vehicles on Mars. They build protocols and enable communication to architect the Internet.

The M.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering at KCC is a highly advanced post graduate qualification designed to build on an underlying background in science and technology. The course is of two years duration full-time.

Eligibility: Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university in the stream in which they wish to pursue an M.Tech. at KCC. Candidates must have passed B.E/B.Tech. in their respective disciplines with a minimum of 60% in aggregate. SC/ST/PwD candidates.

Can apply with a minimum of 54% marks. Non GATE candidates are granted admission to M.Tech. degrees on the basis of their Qualifying Exam Marks for the vacant seats left after GATE candidates are allotted seats.

Procedure: Admission is granted through competitive performance in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE). Reservation in admission to the M.Tech. degrees are governed by AICTE/State Government/ Central Government rules.

Management seats are filled directly by the institute by conducting institute level counseling based on the merit of SEE- UPTU : 2020 / AIEEE rank & merit in qualifying examination.
