Are applications for CMAT 2024 available?

It is predicted that registration for CMAT 2024 will open in February and close in March of the year 2024. The CMAT test is set for May of the same year. On its website, cmat.nta.nic.in, the National Testing Agency (NTA) will announce the official CMAT 2024 exam dates. The processes for CMAT registration include creating a unique ID, completing the application, and paying the required fees.

There is no minimum score requirement for CMAT 2024 eligibility. However, the minimal percentage required by universities that accept CMAT scores is typically 50% (45% for restricted categories). Candidates can complete the CMAT 2024 application form if they have a bachelor's degree or an equivalent degree from an accredited university. Candidates in their last year of study for a bachelor's degree are also eligible.

  • Once the process of correcting the CMAT applications is complete, applicants will be sent their CMAT 2024 admission cards.
  • If they have any questions, applicants can contact the National Testing Agency's (NTA) service centres by phone or by sending an email to cmat@nta.ac.in.

The CMAT 2024 Exam Date will shortly be announced on the NTA website. The exam will be given in a single shift using computer technology.

CMAT 2024 Registration: Application Process

Candidates should take great care when completing the CMAT Registration Form 2024. After the correction window has passed, the NTA restricts changes. The CMAT Application Form 2024 submission process is covered in detail in the discussion that follows.

Step 1: Creating login credentials.

The candidates must have all the required documentation on hand in order to avoid any problems during CMAT registration.

Step 2: CMAT application form must be completed

Candidates can create a password to log on to the website to fill out the CMAT Application Form by using their system-generated application number.

  • All fields, including those for educational background, professional experience, and personal information, must be filled out by candidates.
  • Applicants may choose up to four exam cities from a list of CMAT 2024 Exam Centres.
  • Candidates from the NCR region can select the New Delhi testing location.

Step 3: Scan and upload images

The following documents must be scanned and uploaded by applicants:

  • Picture
  • Signature

After submitting their documents, candidates must enter the security pin. Select the "I have verified uploaded images" button after carefully examining the submitted papers.

Step 4: CMAT 2024 Application Fee Payment

Candidates must pay the CMAT Registration Fee online after completing the aforementioned stages in filling out the online CMAT 2024 Application Form. This year, too, the fee schedule won't change. The application fee breakdown by category is shown below.

Modes of Payment for CMAT Application

Online Payment – Application fee payment options for CMAT online include SBI, HDFC, PAYTM credit cards, debit cards, net banking, and UPI payments. Applicants must select an option for online payment and use any of these methods to complete the transaction. After the CMAT 2024 payment has been completed, applicants will receive a confirmation email and SMS on the registered email address or cellphone number.

Cash Payment – Applicants may also pay in cash at their chosen SBI branch. Those who are currently residing in India would be affected.

  • The candidate is required to print at least three copies of the challan when it is generated. He must next complete all the bank-specific fields in the relevant section and travel to the closest SBI branch to make a cash payment.
  • A cash deposit is required from applicants two days before the CMAT Registration 2024 deadline. Pick up a copy at the bank.
  • Applicants will receive a confirmation email and SMS via the registered phone after two days after payment. The payment made is not returnable.

Note: If the payment is not made correctly, applicants will automatically get the required amount within 15 days.

Q1. After submission, is it possible to alter the CMAT application form?

Candidates cannot make modifications to their CMAT application before or after submission; only during the rectification period that follows. No additional adjustments will be allowed once the adjustment window expires.

No, accrediting the CMAT is not necessary for enrolment in the MBA program. However, you must pass the CMAT exam in order to enroll in management courses at a college that has received approval from the AICTE.
