NTA has launched the JEE Main registration process for Session 1 on October 28, 2024, for the JEE Main 2025 exam. Candidates should hurry up and complete the JEE Main application form at jeemain.nta.ac.in, before the deadline of November 22, 2024. The JEE Mains 2025 exam dates for sessions 1 and 2 were released by the authorities on 28 October 2024. The first session of the JEE Main exam 2025 will be administered by the authority from January 22 to 31, 2025. Applicants can choose to participate in one or both of the JEE Main 2025 sessions. The highest score will be taken into account for the result if they participate in both sessions. Additionally, they are exempt from reapplying in session 2 if they register for both simultaneously. During the second session window, these applicants only need to log in and pay their JEE Main registration fee. They can even change the exam centre for session 2 if they feel the need.

Those who only plan to attend one session (either the first or second) must nevertheless finish the JEE Main registration and submit their JEE Main application form.

How Many JEE Mains Attempts Are There?

JEE Main candidates need to know how many times they are allowed to take the exam to pass. In 2025, applicants may take the JEE Main exam three times in a row. There will be two sessions a year. For JEE Mains 2025, there will be six attempts in total.

JEE Main Application Form for 2025

The JEE Main application form for 2025 has been made available by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for Session 1. Registration for JEE Main 2025 is currently open for the January session. The online application for JEE Main 2025 is accessible at jeemain.nta.nic.in.

Documents Needed to Submit a JEE Main 2025 Application

Applicants for JEE Main 2025 need to bring the following documents.

• A scanned copy of your signature – Format JPG/JPEG and Size 4 KB to 30 KB.
• A scanned copy of your Photo – Format JPG/JPEG and Size 10KB to 200KB
• Candidates can use credit/debit cards or Internet banking to pay their JEE Main Registration fee.
• Mark sheets for classes 10 and 12 (as well as the class 12 admit card if you're taking the test)
• Category certificate (for candidates with PwD, SC, ST, and EWS) – Format PDF and Size 50 KB to 300 KB.
• PwD certificate if any – Format PDF and Size 50 KB to 300 KB.

JEE Main Registration Fee

The NTA JEE Main Registration fee must be paid online by candidates. You have the option to pay using a credit card, debit card, net banking, or UPI. After the successful payment of fees, candidates will receive an online confirmation page on their registered email ID or phone. Students should print a hard copy of their online confirmation receipt for future reference.

How to submit JEE Main Application Form 2025?

Applicants can use the step-by-step guide provided below to fill out and submit their JEE Main application form.

1. 1. First, go to the official website.

2. 2. Click on the "JEE Main Registration 2025." Tab on the registration page.

3. 3. Provide your relevant details like name, phone number, date of birth, etc., and press the "Submit" button to submit the form.

(Candidates will receive an email and message with the application form number and password on their registered email address and mobile number after completing the JEE Main registration procedure. Applicants must preserve/save their registration information).

4. 4. Upon completing the registration process, candidates will be sent to the website where they can fill out their application forms. Candidates must fill out this stage with their educational background, parent information, communication address, permanent address, and preferred exam location.

5. 5. Upload scanned copies of your signature and passport-size photo.

6. 6. Pay your JEE Main registration fee using any of the available gateways.

7. 7. You will receive the confirmation mail after the application fees are successfully paid.

Students must download and make a hard copy of their completed application form. It is recommended that applicants save their hard-copy application forms until the admissions process is over.

JEE Main Application Form Correction Window

Students will be able to make corrections to their submitted application form during the correction window which will be made available after the last date of registration. You should visit the official website jeemain.nta.ni.c.in for JEE Main correction 2025. By logging in, all registered candidates will be able to edit their completed application form. It should be noted by candidates that during the correction period, only certain information such as category, address, photo, and signature will be subject to change.
