Course Overview

B. Tech in Computer Engineering with a focus on Data Science (DS) is a relatively young and rapidly expanding area that consists of a collection of methods and instruments for deriving valuable information from data. The curriculum includes Data Science as an interdisciplinary, problem-solving-focused course that teaches students how to apply scientific methods to real-world issues.

As a sub-specialization under the B.Tech CSE department, the program is accredited by the NBA and AICTE, and affiliated with AKTU.

Data Science is the conceptual framework which is used in Analytics, this would include statistics, computational physics, algebra, CS and all allied subjects.

Qualifications for Delhi NCR's B.Tech in Data Science: The candidate must have passed the 10+2 exam with one of the following topics in addition to the required subjects of mathematics and physics: Biology, Chemistry, and Biotechnology.

Admission Procedure of B.Tech Data Science College in Delhi NCR: Admission to the B.Tech. Computer Science and Engineering at KCC ITM would be done on the basis of JEE 2026 & 10+2. Management seats are filled directly by the institute by conducting institute level counseling.

NRI Seats: NRI candidates will be eligible for 5% of the managerial positions. NRI seats would be filled up as per AICTE and University norms i.e. by NRIs who have passed the qualifying examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from an institute situated outside India provided such qualification is considered equivalent to 10+2 Examination by the Association of Indian Universities.

Scholarship based on class XIIth score

90% and above in eligiblity subjects - 100% of semester fee
80%-89% in eligiblity subjects - 50% of semester fee.
75%-79% in eligiblity subjects - 25% of semester fee
70%-74% in eligiblity subjects - 15% of semester fee

* This scholastic scholarship is granted only in the first Semester

Sports Scholarship

Zonal Zonal Level Player : 5% of fee each year
State State Level Player : 15% of fee each year
National National Level Player : 25% of fee each year

Defence Scholarship

Children of defence personnel's are ofered scholarship to the extent of 10% of fee each semester. The student has to produce card of his parent at the time of admission as a proof of service. The scholarship is also offered to wards of Ex-servicemen.

Bank Loan to Pursue B.Tech in Data Science

Students are eligible to avail study loan from any of the Nationalized Banks.
