What is the Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communication (BAJMC)?
BAJMC Admission 2023 will be based on the results of entrance exams or by merit at the university level. There are national and State-level entrance exams for admission to BAJMC courses like CUET and CUCET exams, but some colleges and universities including GGSIPU administer their own entrance exam known as IPU CET.
The IPU CET 2023 exam took place from June 5–12, 2023, and admission to GGSIPU colleges was conducted based on the results of the exam. The best BAJMC colleges in India include KCC Institute of Legal and Higher Education, IISU Jaipur, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, New Delhi, Lady Shri Ram College for Women, etc.
The 3-year BAJMC undergraduate program divided into 6 semesters comprises a range of core subjects related to the entertainment sector including Intro to Journalism, Cyber Media, Radio Journalism, Public Relations, Computer Applications, Design and Graphics, Media Laws and Ethics, National and International Affairs, etc. It provides students with the theoretical and practical skills needed to work as editors or journalists.
