To participate in the GGS IPU 2024 counselling, students have to pay the CET counselling participation and a registration fees online mode. Instruction to be followed by the Candidates at the time of Filling up of Choice(s),
1. Choice filling is compulsory for allotment of seat. Candidate will not be considered for online allotment of seat without the filled in choices/preferences.
2. After enrollment for online counselling, candidate has to fill choices for allotment, from the list of all possible combinations of all institutes and courses available, in the order of his/her preference, during the choice filling period.
3. Once the period for filling of choices/preferences is over, choices/preferences filled by candidate will be used for allotment of seat.
4. Candidates are advised and encouraged in their own interest to fill maximum number of choices, as it increases the possibility of getting the desirable seat. For the benefit of the candidates, the stream-wise and institute-wise and rank-wise Admission Rank cut off data is available on University Website and as rolevant link in https://ipu.admissions.mic.in.
5. From previous experiences, it has been noted that some candidates fill up very few / limited number of choices, may result in non-allotment of seat during seat allotment. Therefore it is once again advised that the candidates should fill as many choices as possible to ensure that they have better chances of allotment of seat.
6. The candidates are also advised to fill choices/preferences, then save the same and then take the print out of the saved choices/preferences to be retained for future reference.
7. Candidates and their parents are advised, in their own interest, to visit the various Colleges/Institutes affiliated to the University prior to the date(s) of counseling to ascertain the location, academic and infrastructural facilities available such as hostel, transportation etc. in the various Colleges/Institutes which may facilitate their decision-making at the time of filling choices for various Colleges/Institution during the Online counseling for allotment of seat as per his/her preferred choice. Any representation regarding location of allotted Colleges/ Institution at far away distance from place of residence or non availability of transportation shall not be entertained by the University.

5. Schedule For Round 03 Of Online Counselling shall be notified later.
6. GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:
(a) The candidates must read the conditions of eligibility for admission as given in the Admission Brochure for 2024-25 carefully and must satisfy themselves regarding their eligibility for admission in various programmes before registering online for admission and submitting the Counselling
Participation Fees.
(b) It is the sole responsibility of the candidate to ensure that they fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria in the programmes they seek admission; the correctness of the details filled with respect to region; category or any other such details for allotment of seat. If at any stage of admission procedure the information turnished by the candidate is found to be incorrect or false the admission to the programme shall be cancelled and all the fees paid will be forfeited.
(c) In order to avoid last minute rush, the candidates are advised to apply early enough. The University will not be responsible for network problems or any other problem of such nature for either submission of online application or any other activity during the last minute.
Those who meet the requirements will likely be contacted in June/July to begin the IPU CET counselling process. Counselling for admission to the various courses is held for the IPU CET 2024. The IPU CET 2024 exam will be held for a variety of degrees, including Biotechnology B. Tech, Lateral Entry to B. Tech for Diploma holders, Lateral Entry to B. Tech for BSc Graduates, and many more. Nonetheless, the JEE Main score is the basis for admission to B. Tech programs at Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. To take part in the counselling procedure, applicants for Gobind Singh Indraprastha University's B. Tech programmes must be JEE Main qualified. There are several steps in the IPU CET counselling process, including IPU CET registration, payment of the fees, choice filling, choice locking, seat allotment, etc.Candidates who meet the requirements will be able to take part in the IPU CET counselling process according to the timetable provided.
The IPU CET 2024 exam is not held to admit B. Tech students. Before the deadline, candidates who took part in JEE Main 2024 can finish the registration and choice-filling process for IPU CET counselling 2024. Online registration and choice-filling for the IPU CET counselling 2024 are made possible via the official website, ipu.admissions.nic.in. The deadline for applying was April 30, 2024. Candidates can review the application details on the IPU CET Application Form 2024 website. Candidates must pay anIPU CET registration fees of INR 500 and a counselling participation fee of INR 1000 by the deadline to take part in the IPU CET counselling 2024. IPU CET Counselling 2024: Who Qualifies for the IPU CET Counselling?

Applicants who achieved the Cut-off marks released by GGSIPU and affiliated colleges are eligible for IPU CET counselling.

Applicants who expressed their preferences during the first round of counselling but were not given a seat are eligible for second round of counselling.

The candidates who were given seats in the first round paid the required portion of the tuition fee, showed up at the university centres to have their documents verified, and did not cancel their admission or freeze their seat are eligible for IPU CET counselling.
By default, these candidates will be considered for additional rounds of counselling, and their ranks will automatically be upgraded based on their CET rank.

For the second round of counselling, the candidates will have the option to revise their selections. Seats will be converted to another category per the conversion criteria if there are any open seats after round two.

In the event that the candidate's seat is improved during subsequent rounds of counselling, they will not be permitted to keep their original selection.

A fresh printout of their seat assignment for the most recent rounds of counselling is required of the candidate.

The candidate must pay INR 40,000 as part of the academic fee if they decide to participate in the counselling procedure after the second round.

The candidate must visit the university centre with their fees slip and certificates after completing round two. If a candidate's seat has been decided upon after the first round, they must report again.

It's also crucial to report to the appropriate university centres; failure to do so will result in the cancelation of your seat assignment.

Applicants can use the same online withdrawal process to withdraw after round two.
IPU CET Counselling Process for 2024
Counselling for the IPU CET 2024 is done online. Applicants may take part in the counselling from anywhere in the nation. The IPU CET counselling process includes paying the counselling fee, registering, filling out choices, paying the charge, assigning seats, verifying documents, and more. There will be three rounds in all, the first of which is sliding.

The processing charge for counselling is Rs. 1000 and is not refundable.

Candidates will be given places in different management institutions connected to IP University based on the IPU BCA 2024 Cut-off and their rank.
